After closing a successful 2023/24 season performing at the Festival Radio France Montpellier and featuring in the concert version of La Clemenza di Tito at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, acclaimed French mezzo-soprano Marianne Crebassa kicks off her 2024/25 season next week at Paris’ Opéra Comique in George Benjamin’s Picture a Day Like This. Conducted by Benjamin himself, the performance is a reprise of its 2023 première at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. This production will run from 25 to 31 October 2024.
Marianne’s season continues with a range of exciting projects, including a tour with Gustavo Dudamel, Verdi’s Requiem with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Riccardo Muti, another reprise of Picture a Day Like This in Luxembourg, and recitals in notable venues, including the Théâtre Athénée in Paris.
