IMG Artists Welcomes Bass Nahuel Di Pierro to its Roster for General Management

IMG Artists is delighted to welcome the Argentinian “rich, bronzy bass” (Bachtrack) Nahuel Di Pierro to our roster for general management (excluding Italy). Nahuel is represented by Artist Manager Callan Coughlan from the London office and Senior Assistant Artist Manager Claire Louis from the France office.

A universally renowned interpreter of baroque, classical and bel canto repertoire, Nahuel is one of the most in demand singers of our generation. Born in Buenos Aires, he studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte at the Teatro Colón. He later joined the Paris Opera Studio and participated in the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival. Highlights of the 2024-25 season include Claudio in Agrippina at Opernhaus Zürich with conductor Harry Bicket, Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte at Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Mustafa in L’italiana in Algeri at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. In concert, Nahuel performs Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with Le Concert de la Loge at Musikfest Bremen and Rheingau Musik Festival, and in recital, he will appear with pianist Alphonse Cemin at Théâtre de l’Athénée, Paris.

Nahuel said: “I am very excited to reconnect with Callan. We collaborated during a pivotal moment in my career, and I am confident that with this new beginning at IMGA, we can continue our journey in the world of Opera. Callan is an outstanding professional, always attentive to the artist and consistently providing a clear vision of things.”

Callan said: “Nahuel is undeniably one of the most accomplished basses in classical music today. His talents have already taken him to the very finest opera houses and concert stages, and I am thrilled to be supporting him in the next stages of his career. It is an honour and privilege to have such an excellent artist and wonderful person join the roster at IMG Artists.”

Nahuel boasts an extensive discography, which includes recordings of operas such as Les Paladins and Ercole Amante, as well as oratorios including Betulia Liberata and Mozart’s Requiem. In addition to his operatic and oratorio recordings, Di Pierro is actively involved in the folk music of his native Buenos Aires, recently releasing the album Anclao en Paris, dedicated to tango.
